Missing Pieces: the curious case of the Somerton man

In December 1948 the body of a man was found on the beach at Somerton in South Australia. 70 years on we still don't know who he is or how he died. This documentary contains interviews with eye witnesses to the event and contemporary researchers who have dedicated their lives to asking the questions 'Who is he?'

UPDATE: This film was produced in 2018 and prompted the South Australian Government to exhume the Somerton Man’s remains. The exhumation took place in April 2021 and in July 2022 Professor Derek Abbott was finally able to give the Somerton Man his name, Carl “Charles” Webb.
