ACT – Assessing low Carbon Transition is a joint voluntary initiative of the UNFCCC secretariat Global Climate Agenda co-founded by ADEME and CDP. ACT provides sectoral methodologies as an accountability framework to assess how companies’ strategies and actions contribute to the Paris mitigation goals.

This video is the recorded webinar delivered on the 25th May 2021:
• Providing key elements of the ACT Chemicals methodology,
• Outlining the opportunity to contribute to the public consultation,
• Covering information about the benefits, timeline and requirements for businesses to join the ACT Chemicals methodology road test.
ACT methodology development follow a multi-stakeholders approach and experimentation by volunteer companies to ensure the methodology is adapted and addresses the low carbon transition challenges the sector activities face. Road test is a unique opportunity for companies to benefit from a free ACT assessment conducted by trained consultants and resulting in an ACT rating and feedback report identifying opportunities for improvement to align with sectoral pathways.
